On the occasion of the first year of NFDI4Ing in general as well as of base service S-1 “Quality Assurance and FAIR metrics” in particular, we look proudly at the strong networking already achieved: We connected to the engineering community via our Special Interest Group (“SIG”) to collect requirements and to present updates regarding our work. With this we ensure the relevance and applicability of our work by inclusion of engineers from several disciplines and universities. Beyond this, we are in good contact with organisations like the RDA (Research Data Alliance), where we already presented our work approach at their last conference.
